Job summary

Valmont Industries is hiring an Inspector for the tubing department to oversee inspection, verify dimensions, and ensure rust prevention treatment. You will record data, adjust equipment, and coordinate with teams to meet customer specifications and maintain product quality.

The role requires manual measuring, accurate data entry, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing or fabrication.
• ASQ Quality Inspector certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Adjust equipment to meet specifications and ensure tubes are round and within tolerance.
• Coordinate with end prep and bundler teams for correct tube specs.
• Maintain QA paperwork and met lab samples for analysis.
• Record heat numbers, order numbers and production data.
• Inspect welds, steel quality and dimensions for compliance.
