Job summary

River Bend Industrial Solutions (Formerly River Bend Hose Specialty) is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector to ensure products meet quality standards. You will inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished goods using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and comparators.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and tools.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Skilled in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators).
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine inspection criteria.
• Document inspection results and report non-conformances clearly.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain organized inspection records and quality documents.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Support audits and maintain ISO and customer quality standards.
• Contribute to PPAP, FAI, and control plans; participate in quality initiatives.
