Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking a Process Mechanic - Tube Benders in the St. Louis area. The role involves setup and operation of NC-controlled tube benders, tooling installation, and coordination with design to fabricate prototypes and tooling.

Candidates should have tubing fabrication experience, the ability to read blueprints and process specs, and proficiency with measuring instruments and standard shop tools. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with tubing and ducting manufacturing/installation/maintenance.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run power operated NC-controlled tube benders and inspect parts.
• Install fittings such as Wiggins, Dynatube, DME, and others.
• Perform end form operations: size, bead, flare, expand, reduce.
• Route and trial fit tubes on aircraft and mock-ups to determine size and shape.
• Read and work to blueprints, instructions, and process specs.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, and CNC equipment.
