Job summary

Hydrasearch, a U.S. manufacturer of fluid-transfer and control systems, seeks a Tube Bender in Stevensville, MD. You will program, set up, and operate CNC tube bending equipment to produce both custom and production parts.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CNC tube bending experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and proficiency with BendPro, VTube, or SolidWorks CAD/CAM. We value precision, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in tube bending programming with CNC tube bending machines.
• Proficiency with CNC tube bending programming software (BendPro, VTube, SolidWorks or CAD/CAM).
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings; accurate bend specification interpretation.
• Proven troubleshooting, detail-orientation, and effective verbal/written communication skills.
• Technical school certificate or advanced training preferred; CNC Machinist background welcomed.
• Knowledge of rotary draw bending; familiarity with mandrel and roll bending is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for tube bending machines to ensure efficient production.
• Set up and operate CNC tube bending machinery, auto-blanking saws, and finishing tools for custom and production parts.
• Ensure bends meet strict quality specs; perform inspections and adjust programs or machines as needed (Hexagon Inspection Arms experience preferred).
• Identify and resolve issues in tube bending processes and address equipment malfunctions and variation in bend quality.
• Maintain accurate records of programs, tooling setups, and bend instructions.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on tube bending equipment to ensure safe, optimal operation.
• Collaborate with production, design, and QA teams to meet project specs and timelines.
