Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Process Mechanic - Tube Bender to setup and run NC tube benders, inspect parts, and support fabrication of components for aerospace applications.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing precision assembly, and collaborating with design and production teams to ensure quality and Lean objectives. Shift flexibility and travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with tubing and ducting manufacturing/installation/maintenance.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
• Experience operating CNC machines (e.g. CNC rivet/milling).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Composite fabrication, layup, drill, and repair.
• Assemble precision assemblies, set up and operate fixtures for drilling and reaming.
• Assemble prototype assemblies with minimal engineering guidance.
• Perform engineering tests of production parts and equipment with cross‑functional teams.
• Modify and fabricate tools, parts and prototype tooling in collaboration with design.
• Periodically inspect tools for repair.
