Independent Software in Columbia, MD is seeking a Video Field Support Specialist to provide hands-on support for VTC systems and end-user devices in secure customer environments.

You will install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify hardware while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and remote technical support. TS/SCI clearance is required, with DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification preferred.

• Experience installing, repairing, and troubleshooting VTC devices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience providing remote technical support to end users.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory security and policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.

Mansioni

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end‑user devices, including PCs, thin clients, NICs, telephones, monitors, printers, pagers, and radios.
• Perform maintenance and technical support on end‑user devices, integrated systems, and subsystems.
• Install and configure software at customer and field locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to end‑user equipment.
• Deliver responsive technical support while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
