Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a Systems Architecture SME to provide senior technical leadership across DoD and IC programs. The role requires guiding complex architectures and delivering strategic recommendations.

You will work with government stakeholders, mentor senior engineers, and coordinate architecture reviews, technology trade studies, and roadmaps. Candidates must hold TS/SCI clearance, 15+ years of relevant experience, and a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• 15+ years of progressive technical experience in DoD/IC environments.
• Expert in one or more domains: Cybersecurity, Systems architecture, Network engineering, or Software/security engineering.
• Experience advising senior government leadership and executives on strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a recognized technical authority in systems architecture or IT.
• Provide expert analysis and advisory support for highly complex problems.
• Act as a technical expert on executive-level project teams and advise on architecture and solutions.
• Support architecture reviews, design decisions, and technology trade studies.
• Coordinate with contract management and government personnel to ensure requirements are met.
• Develop technical roadmaps and architectural standards.
• Ensure solutions align with DoD, IC, and DIA security/compliance requirements.
