Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead IT infrastructure initiatives in support of mission systems within the DoD/IC. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and SOW compliance.

The ideal candidate has an active TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years of DoD/IC project management experience, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams across contracts and programs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• 8+ years of progressive experience managing IT infrastructure, enterprise technology, or systems integration projects within the DoD or Intelligence Community.
• At least 5 years leading cross-functional technical teams and managing project cost, schedule, and performance.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and managing personnel, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate computer-related activities including electronic data processing, information systems, and systems analysis.
• Manage day-to-day project execution and long-term planning to meet end-user requirements.
• Create and maintain Project Management Plans (PjMPs) for IT infrastructure projects and monitor execution against plans.
• Provide periodic reports on staffing, project status, and performance.
• Develop project estimates for effort, cost, and schedule for complex initiatives.
