Job summary

J T in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks a Tier 2 Level 1 Systems Administrator to support secure enterprise infrastructure. This on-site role covers server OS admin, patching, security controls, and cross-functional IT projects. Shift is Wednesday–Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph requirement.

The ideal candidate will diagnose complex issues, manage user access, document configurations, and assist in system upgrades while maintaining compliance with federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• 10+ years IT/sysadmin experience with HS diploma, or 5+ years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Certification: at least one IAT Level 1 compliant cert.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain enterprise servers and core applications.
• Apply patches and changes per change management.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex system issues.
• Configure, deploy, and upgrade systems and tools.
• Ensure security controls and compliance with federal guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects.
