Job summary

North Point Technology seeks a Systems Administrator / Help Desk Engineer to support an Intelligence Community program. The role ensures stability, security, and performance of cloud and on‑prem environments while maintaining TS/SCI clearance requirements.

Candidates should have deep Linux and Windows expertise, automation experience (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash), and thrive in a fast-paced, classified setting. Morning 6 AM EST or evening 10 PM EST shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience managing Linux/Windows systems in DoD/IC environments.
• Must be able to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, reliability, and security of infrastructure.
• Administer Linux and Windows systems and manage support tickets.
• Architect server, storage, and virtualization (VMware, KVM).
• Monitor performance and implement automation (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash).
• Support security audits, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
