Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator/Help Desk Engineer to support a classified Agile software program for an Intelligence Community customer. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and will operate across cloud and on-prem environments to ensure stability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities include Linux/Windows administration, virtualization management (VMware, KVM), automation (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Python), and security compliance (STIGs, RMF).

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows in DoD/IC environments, with security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux and Windows systems and manage incidents from ticket to resolution.
• Architect and manage server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure (VMware, KVM).
• Automate tasks with Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python; maintain IaC practices.
• Support DoD/IC security posture including STIGs, RMF, and ACAS scans.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and software teams on deployments and DR planning.
