Qualifications

• Linux and Windows Server system administration.
• Architecting and managing server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure (VMware, KVM).
• Automation and scripting with Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) and hybrid cloud environments.
• STIG compliance, system hardening, ACAS scans, and RMF processes.
• Enterprise networking, identity/access management, and storage concepts.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and end-user issues and managing support tickets through resolution.
• Supporting IC or DoD classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads systems operations and ensures availability, reliability, and security of infrastructure.
• Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software, and end-user issues; manages tickets through resolution.
• Architects and manages server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure (VMware, KVM).
• Performs OS installation, configuration, hardening, and patching per DoD STIGs.
• Monitors and tunes system performance; performs root cause analysis.
• Maintains automation scripts and infrastructure as code (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash).
• Supports backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning; maintains system documentation.
• Collaborates with cybersecurity, network engineering, and software development teams.
• Leads deployment of system enhancements and modernization initiatives; participates in security audits, incident response, and readiness activities.
