Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator in Arlington, VA to maintain and secure the organization’s Windows-based infrastructure. The role requires 5+ years of related experience, a Bachelor degree, and TS/SCI eligibility to start.

Responsibilities include tiered system administration, AD management, helpdesk support, and coordinating with DISA networks. Onsite work with occasional overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Windows Server 2016, Exchange Server 2016, and Windows 10 OS administration.
• Experience with LAN/WAN technologies and defense networks is beneficial.
• Familiarity with security policies and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I, II, and III system administration support.
• Monitor authentication, email, and file/print servers for errors.
• Assist with user accounts, AD and permissions management.
• Setup workstations for new employees and assist with scanning/printing.
• Maintain hardware, software, and peripheral devices; perform WSUS updates.
