Job summary

Akina Inc. seeks a System Administrator 2 to support UNIX and Windows operating systems, AWS services, and related IT infrastructure at Fort Meade, MD. Clearance TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The candidate will handle day-to-day IT operations, incident resolution, and escalation, including help desk and system optimization tasks. The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting skills, experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform) and DoD 8570 IAT Level I+ certification.

Qualifications

• Ten years of SA experience in similar scope required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage day-to-day operations of client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Configure UNIX and Windows operating systems and maintain system integrity.
