Job summary

Akina, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator SA2 to support IT systems at Fort Meade, Maryland. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and involves Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, UNIX/Windows administration, and network configuration to ensure reliability and performance.

You will manage day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with agency management. The position offers a strong compensation package and a clear path for experienced SA

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years experience as a System Administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and loads operating system software, troubleshoot and maintain integrity of and configure network components
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
