Job summary

Akina Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator for Fort Meade, MD, with TS/SCI and polygraph requirements. The role emphasizes Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and IT operations across client/server/storage networks.

responsibilities include support for IT systems, UNIX/Windows configurations, and escalation handling. A minimum 15 years SA experience plus a technical BA/BS is required, with government contract experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of SA experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and related network components.
• Analyzes and resolves complex IT system problems and provides feedback to management.
