Job summary

Leidos in Bethesda, MD seeks a TS/SCI-cleared Product Owner to guide NDOC mission software. You will decompose high-priority requirements from the product roadmap into deliverable features, coordinating design, development and deployment with government and contractor teams.

On-site with occasional remote work, you will manage the team backlog, drive Agile ceremonies, and foster collaboration to deliver secure, scalable solutions for DIA.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; 8+ years experience or Masters with 6+ years experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph eligibility is required.
• Experience as Product Owner/Team Lead/Scrum Master on a software development team.
• Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
• Strong backlog prioritization and Agile understanding; familiarity with Gitlab, Jira, Confluence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proven cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead NDOC mission applications; provide technical direction for research, development, integration, and sustainment.
• Plan, design, and oversee tool implementations meeting mission needs in a high-throughput data pipeline.
• Coordinate system engineering activities: analysis, design, integration, test, sustainment, deployment.
• Own the team backlog; manage programmatic relationships across applications and tasks.
• Develop and maintain the backlog for an Agile scrum team; ensure sound engineering practices.
