Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Software Engineer to join a fast-paced team supporting the DIA-NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform. Majority on-site in Bethesda, MD with flexible scheduling and occasional remote work.

You will design, deploy, and maintain a containerized microservices stack, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable infrastructure, collaborating across engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Systems Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience; 6+ years with a Master.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Poly.
• Strong Linux proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Demonstrated success working in cross-functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big-data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and reliability.
• Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirements.
• Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities.
• Contribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and related activities.
