Leidos seeks a Technical Writer to support a high-impact, multi-agency program serving USSF/SSC and USAF. You will author, edit, and proofread manuals, training materials, and guides for a large SATCOM system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with DID requirements.

The role requires PKI/Agile experience, strong problem solving, and collaboration with engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent substitution
• 5+ years of technical writing experience for software/engineering docs
• Experience writing, formatting, editing, and maintaining large technical docs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for docs
• Ability to gather requirements, translate complex tech into written material

Responsabilités

• Oversee collection, organization, and analysis of technical info for documentation
• Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers to gather data and media
• Edit and refine descriptions and system specifications for accuracy and clarity
• Perform QA reviews to ensure standards and DID requirements are met
• Maintain document configuration management, version control, and traceability
