Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Technical Writer for the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. You will author, edit, and proofread a wide range of technical documents and work with engineers to translate complex information into clear materials.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. TS/SCI with Poly is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, writing, or related discipline and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of technical writing experience for software and engineering-related documents and contractual deliverables.
• Experience editing and maintaining large, complex documents and publications.
• Experience using MS Office to develop and edit technical documentation and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collection, organization, and analysis of technical information for documentation like user manuals, installation guides, and training materials.
• Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, test engineers, and program management to gather data and supporting media.
• Edit and refine specifications, manuals, and reports for technical accuracy and usability.
• Maintain document configuration management, version control, and traceability for assigned deliverables.
