Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Technical Writer in the Intel Sector—Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). You will author, edit, and proofread a wide range of technical documentation, transforming complex technical information into clear, usable material while aligning with DID requirements and program standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, writing, or related discipline; 12–18+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• 5+ years of technical writing experience for software/engineering documents and deliverables.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to develop/edit docs and presentations.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, software, test, and program management to translate technical info into written docs.
• Experience editing for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards and requirements.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and proofread a wide range of technical documentation (manuals, guides, training materials).
• Gather requirements from users and stakeholders and produce user-facing and internal documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to collect data, screenshots, and media for documentation.
• Ensure compliance with program standards and Data Item Description (DID) requirements.
• Manage multiple docs with version control and configuration management.
