Job summary

NorthHill Technology Resources seeks a Payroll Specialist to join the accounting team at the Fairfax, VA headquarters. You will manage monthly payroll for full-time and part-time staff, labor distributions, and timekeeping compliance within a secure government-contracting environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll processing experience, an active TS/SCI clearance, and hands-on use of Deltek Costpoint and Paycor.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll processing and timekeeping experience, preferably in defense contracting.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process monthly payroll for full-time and part-time employees.
• Handle labor distributions and timekeeping compliance.
• Onboard/terminate changes in Paycor.
• Reconcile monthly payroll for both payrolls.
• Prepare labor distribution reports and payroll tax documentation.
• Support internal and external audits; assist with special projects.
