Job summary

Set of X is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join an elite team building a cohesive, secure solution from diverse systems. You will influence architecture, support the transition, and build strong customer relations during early-stage development.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of system administration experience, TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and extensive Linux, VMware, and automation expertise, plus RHCSA/RHCE certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in System Administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with current owners and administrators to understand existing systems, requirements, and problem areas.
• Provide input for organization long-term efforts and visions for future architecture and design.
• Provide system administration functions to fix critical problems or implement stop-gap solutions during transition.
• Translate existing requirements and use-cases of current systems into scalable, long-term solutions.
• Implement and support final solution(s).
• Participate in frequent internal engineering and strategy team meetings.
• Build direct customer relationships to improve feedback loop.
