Job summary

Twenty80 LLC is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support a mission-critical cybersecurity modernization program in Maryland. You will manage bare-metal environments, implement automated infrastructure, and ensure secure, available systems across a large software development environment.

Ideal candidates have active TS/SCI clearance, expert Linux skills, and hands-on experience with Ansible, VMware, and Kubernetes to support next-generation malware analysis and cyber orchestration

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance required.
• Expert-level Linux system administration, architecture, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Proficient in infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Extensive troubleshooting of complex infrastructure, systems, and environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and Kubernetes for virtualization and orchestration.

We are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support a high-priority, mission-critical cybersecurity modernization program. In this role, you'll work within a large software development environment, ensuring enterprise systems remain secure, reliable, and highly available while implementing automated infrastructure to support next-generation malware analysis, cyber orchestration, and data enrichment capabilities.

Required Skills

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
• Linux Administration: Expert-level experience with Linux system administration, architecture, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Infrastructure Automation: Strong proficiency using Ansible for configuration management and automated provisioning.
• Troubleshooting: Extensive experience diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure, system, and environment bottlenecks.
• Virtualization & Container Orchestration: Hands-on experience deploying and managing VMware environments and Kubernetes clusters.

Preferred Skills

• Enterprise Storage: Experience administering enterprise storage solutions, with preference for Pure Storage platforms.
• Database Administration: Experience administering and supporting MongoDB.
• Networking: Experience designing, deploying, upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting Cisco-based network environments.
• Network Performance: Strong ability to diagnose connectivity issues, resolve critical network outages, and optimize network performance by eliminating data bottlenecks.
