Job summary

GDIT is seeking a skilled IT SA to provide Tier 1/2 support and system administration for a TS/SCI+Polygraph environment in Maryland. You will coordinate with teams to resolve issues, manage user accounts, and implement security controls across UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms.

Expected duties include incident resolution, daily IT operations, vulnerability management, and patching, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required; 4+ years SA experience may substitute for degree.
• 5+ years experience as a SA in programs of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Two years of experience with ITSM is required.
• ServiceNow System Administrator certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Support day-to-day IT systems operations, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Configure UNIX, Linux and Windows OS and load OS software, enhancements for reliability.
• Manage and escalate issues to agency management and internal customers as needed.
• Perform account management and compliance with security controls.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and patch status verification.
