Job summary

Sev1Tech seeks an Information Technology Specialist to act as a technical expert supporting the program’s IT needs at Fort Hood. The role emphasizes analysis, solution development, and detailed IT documentation to improve methods, performance, and efficiency.

Required qualifications include U.S. citizenship, active TS/SCI clearance, and 5+ years in IT, with DoD 8570 IAT I & II certifications. The candidate should be able to train others and handle hardware and software management tasks.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with an Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or 8 years of direct relevant technical experience substituted for education.
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level I & II certifications; CI Polygraph and PRIVACY as required.
• Experience in both hardware and software management (e.g., reimaging laptops, configuring laptops/servers, VM management).
• Ability to train new IT personnel on IT management policies/procedures.
• Knowledge of Army IT management policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert in IT areas relevant to the program.
• Produce and review technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of IT domains.
• Recommend improvements to methods, performance, and quality of IT products/services to increase efficiency.
