People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks a Systems Administrator responsible for data center operations at Fort Hood, TX and White Sands Missile Range, NM. The role requires managing Windows and UNIX/Linux servers, VM environments, and backup/recovery processes, with emphasis on security and compliance in controlled environments.

The candidate must hold an Active Secret clearance (Top Secret/SCI eligibility for classified work) and meet DoD 8570 CE requirements within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret / SCI eligibility (Tier 5 / T5R) required for administering classified systems.
• DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M baseline certification appropriate to the work role with CE certification within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Build, maintain, patch, and upgrade Windows and UNIX/Linux servers, including virtual machines.
• Maintain an authorized software list and manage user accounts and permissions.
• Apply vulnerability patches and STIG/SRG configurations and run ACAS and SCAP scans.
• Perform data backup, archival, and recovery with high success rates.
• Monitor data center environment, UPS systems, network racks, and report deficiencies.
• Perform server room cable and equipment maintenance to industry standards.
