Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Platform Engineer/Linux Systems Administrator to deploy and maintain a Kubernetes-based platform and shared runtime services for the DOMEX Technology Platform at a near-on-site location in Bethesda, MD, with some remote flexibility.

You will manage Kubernetes, Elastic, Redis, and related services, implement automation, CI/CD, and security hardening, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 4+ years of relevant experience; 2+ years with a Master’s

Responsibilities

• Deploy, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform for a production big-data pipeline.
• Administer and maintain Linux-based applications, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, and hardening.
• Integrate with underlying infrastructure to ensure availability, reliability, security and performance.
• Design and support scalable, redundant application infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Contribute to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, and bug triage.
