Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Platform Engineer/Linux Systems Administrator to support the DOMEX Technology Platform for a 10-year program at Bethesda, MD. You will manage a Kubernetes-based platform and shared runtime services, implementing automation, CI/CD, and security hardening.

You will collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams to deploy, monitor, and scale production data pipelines, with on-site work and occasional remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering, or related field, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• DoD 8140.03-M IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., CySA+, Security+CE).
• Ability to obtain Privileged User Account certification per DoD 8140 policy.
• Kubernetes administration with Helm or equivalent tooling.
• Linux administration, networking, and system hardening.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain the platform for a production big-data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Administer Linux-based applications, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and hardening.
• Integrate with underlying infrastructure for availability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Design and support scalable, redundant application infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Contribute to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and related activities.
