Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Cyber Threat Hunter to join our Professional Services in a full-time, onsite role at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and up to 25% travel, with responsibilities spanning client work, threat hunting planning, and engagement reporting.

You will work in a classified environment, collaborating across security operations and engineering to deliver detailed threat analyses, training, and knowledge transfer while maintaining strong relationships with

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors and countermeasures.
• Experience in SOC monitoring, alert handling and remediation preferred.
• Knowledge of incident management processes for threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to create detailed threat hunting plans, briefings and reports.
• Experience analyzing configurations for vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Proficiency with Trellix Endpoint Security and related tools.
• Responsive to Windows, Mac, Linux OS hardening and artifacts.
• Scripting in Python/PowerShell/Go or similar is preferred.
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR or XDR integrations is desired.
• Active DoD or federal government security compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage client work and deliver IT solutions within consultative engagements.
• Create end-of-engagement reports detailing findings and analyses.
• Develop and maintain intellectual capital around Trellix products.
• Identify process improvements and support training material updates.
• Mentor peers and deliver training as needed.
• Engage in cost/schedule estimation, proposals, and invoicing.
