Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Cyber Threat Hunter for an onsite role at Fort Shafter, HI, in a classified environment. The role involves leading consultant projects from initiation to invoicing, delivering detailed threat analyses, and mentoring peers.

Strong TS/SCI clearance and experience in security operations are required. Responsibilities include developing hunting plans, coordinating with customers, and producing formal reports and briefings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and detection capabilities.
• Experience in Security Operations Center environments with alert monitoring and remediation is preferred.
• Understanding of incident management processes in relation to threats and vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in threat hunting plans, briefings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform client work related to Trellix product services.
• Create end-of-engagement reports detailing findings and analysis.
• Develop and maintain intellectual capital around Trellix product lines.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to scripts and tooling.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client teams.
