Job summary

Trellix seeks a Cyber Threat Hunter for a full-time onsite role at Fort Shafter, HI. You will lead consulting activities, develop threat hunting plans, and deliver detailed reports in a classified environment. Expect collaboration with clients, internal teams, and ongoing capability development to enhance security postures.

Required TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years in threat hunting, and strong scripting/API integration skills. Travel up to 25% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors and countermeasures.
• Experience in a Security Operations Center monitoring alerts.
• Knowledge of incident management processes for threats and vulnerabilities.
• Experience creating detailed Threat Hunting plans and reports.
• Analyze configurations for vulnerabilities and mitigation recommendations.
• Deep knowledge of Trellix Endpoint Security and related tools.
• Experience with Windows, Mac, Linux OS hardening and artifacts.
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell, Go or similar preferred.
• Experience integrating APIs with SIEM/SOAR/XDR platforms.
• Active DoD or DoD-compliant cybersecurity certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage client work and engagement with Trellix product services.
• Create end of engagement reports detailing findings.
• Develop and maintain intellectual capital around product line.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Maintain technical proficiency through training.
• Identify and pursue new client engagements.
• Provide knowledge sharing across Solution Services.
• Mentor peers in new techniques and tools.
• Deliver training when required.
• Participate in proposals, cost/schedule monitoring and invoicing.
