Job summary

Recro Corporation in Chantilly, VA seeks a motivated Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and secure cloud infrastructures across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle. You will leverage IaC tools, automate workflows, and ensure compliance with security standards for mission-critical operations.

The role requires 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, strong DevOps experience, and DoD-related certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years IT experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and/or development.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or Docker.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP.
• Familiarity with cloud template technologies including GitHub Enterprise and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Experience automating workflows using scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, or JSON.
• Experience meeting security requirements in the Sponsor's environment or similar complex environments.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security) or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructures for mission-critical operations.
• Support AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP cloud services with IaC tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud environment issues while applying security best practices.
• Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender, and Sentinel to maintain security posture.
• Write automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI and run them with Logic Apps/Functions.
• Configure NSGs, gateways, and network controls for cloud resources.
• Manage cloud compute, storage, networking, and databases with security compliance.
