Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer/Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructures for mission-critical operations in Chantilly, VA. You will focus on security monitoring and threat detection while leveraging DevOps practices across multiple cloud providers.

The role requires 5–7 years of cloud experience with Azure and AWS, proficiency in IaC tools, scripting, and DevOps pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of cloud computing experience with a focus on Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-based solutions and working with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodeStar, Docker)
• Proficiency with IaC tools ( ARM templates, Terraform, Ansible, or BICEP)
• Familiarity with cloud template technologies (Azure Resource Manager, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab) and frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
• Experience automating workflows using scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, JSON, Ansible)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructures for mission-critical operations
• Leverage AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP with IaC tools
• Apply cloud security best practices and ensure compliance
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI
• Configure and manage network security groups and application gateways
• Collaborate across teams to address complex technical needs
