Job summary

NorthHill Technology Resources is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to support a high‑priority IV&V program in Chantilly, VA. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, IaC, and automated pipelines.

You will design scalable cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and integrate security across the SDLC while collaborating with Government stakeholders and software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related technical discipline plus years of relevant experience.
• NGA domain experience with CORE/RLE deployment preferred.
• Experience designing and administering enterprise AWS environments.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift; security-focused delivery.
• DevSecOps practices and automated security scanning.
• Scripting with Python/Bash/PowerShell; observability tools like Prometheus/Grafana.
• Linux admin, networking, IAM, storage, and cloud security; troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting Agile software development and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud-native infrastructure for IV&V platform.
• Develop IaC to provision cloud resources and manage lifecycle.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.
• Manage containerized apps using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or equivalents.
• Automate software delivery, infrastructure management, and operational workflows.
• Incorporate automated security scanning and DevSecOps across lifecycle.
• Configure cloud networking, storage, identity management, and access controls.
• Implement monitoring, logging, dashboards for system availability and performance.
• Support GEOINT data services for metric collection, storage, visualization, analytics.
• Collaborate with engineers and Government stakeholders; participate in agile rituals.
