Job summary

G2IT is seeking an experienced Applications Developer (Level 3) to design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and ITSM platform solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience including direct development and integration within ServiceNow and/or BMC environments, and can build complex, scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing web-based applications.
• Experience with ITSM platform development and integration, including ServiceNow and/or BMC workflows, portals/self-service, APIs, automation, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of clean and scalable software development practices.
• Experience debugging, testing, and troubleshooting applications.
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications.
• Develop and enhance ServiceNow/BMC workflows, portals, and self-service capabilities.
• Design and implement APIs, automation, and integrations directly within ITSM platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and software issues.
• Perform application testing to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Design and develop complex software solutions based on technical and business requirements.
• Support ongoing application enhancements and improvements.
