Job summary

Qualifications

• 9+ years IT experience in a technical field with 5+ years in Service Management System administration (preferably ServiceNow).
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
• US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow ITSM, including IRM, GRC & SPM.
• Contribute to the design of Service Management System and support SMS operations across the development lifecycle.
• Evaluate evolving ServiceNow functionality and complex system interdependencies for business process impact.
• Maintain awareness and drive SMS reporting best practices and upgrades/releases.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure results meet business needs.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services; deliver new functionality across applications.
• Manage SMS development activities, supporting the entire development lifecycle and applying SDLC/DevOps principles.
• Provide incident resolution for escalated SMS service requests and incidents; assist platform administrator.

GTI2 is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to play a pivotal role in successfully designing and deploying ServiceNow solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow applications to meet specific client business requirements. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to our projects' success and our clients' satisfaction.

HIGH PRIORITY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS

• 9+ total years of relevant IT experience in a technical field of which 5+ years are experience leading and managing Service Management System administration services (preferably ServiceNow).
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification is required.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow ITSM application suite, and in identified specialties, specifically IRM, GRC & SPM.
• Contribute to the design of Service Management System (SMS) and support SMS operations, to include engineers and the SMS development life cycle.
• Evaluate evolving ServiceNow functionality, remaining cognizant of complex system interdependencies and associated business process implications
• Maintain awareness and drive implementation of industry trends, upgrades/releases and best practices in ServiceNow reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders (internal/external) to understand requirements and ensure results meet the business needs.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services.
• Deliver new functionality across applications.
• Manage and perform SMS development activities, supporting the entire development lifecycle.
• Apply SDLC and DevOps principles.
• Perform response and resolution for escalated SMS service requests and incidents.
• Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• 9+ total years of relevant IT experience in a technical field of which 5+ years are experience leading and managing Service Management System administration services (preferably ServiceNow).
• Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years of experience in lieu of degree).
• Ability to interact successfully with all levels of the Customer and IT Provider organization.
• Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Self-motivated and organized with a focus on driving results and strong sense of accountability.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification is required.
• US Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• 5+ years of direct experience in ServiceNow is preferred.
• One or more of the following current ServiceNow Certifications is desirable:
• Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM)
• Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management (CIS-GRC)
