Job summary

Cornerstone Capital is seeking a driven Loan Officer in Tampa, FL to guide clients through the mortgage journey and develop a thriving business with real estate partners. You will build trust, manage the loan lifecycle, and deliver exceptional service from application to closing.

You will leverage your knowledge of loan products, licensing, and market trends to provide sound lending decisions while growing your personal and company throughput.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mortgage loan origination with full loan lifecycle knowledge.
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Proven track record with referral networks of realtors, builders, and industry pros.

Responsibilities

• Build genuine relationships with borrowers and referral partners throughout the mortgage journey.
• Manage all details from application to closing and set clear expectations for borrowers.
• Stay current on market trends, product updates, and compliance requirements.
