WithumSmith+Brown PC seeks a Trust and Estate Tax Manager to lead engagements, mentor staff, and build client relationships from a remote or office-based location. The role focuses on accuracy of returns, research, planning opportunities, and handling tax controversies.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA/JD/MS Taxation, and 5+ years in public accounting tax with leadership experience. Travel flexibility is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license, JD, or MS in Taxation is required.
• At least 5 years in public accounting tax, leading engagements and supervising staff.

Responsabilidades

• Review individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns for accuracy.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.
• Handle and resolve tax controversies.
• Oversee tax research projects for diverse clients and industries.
• Manage multiple engagements with teams to meet deadlines.
• Provide counsel and conduct evaluations with team members.
• Serve in development programs as instructor or discussion leader.
