Job summary

Withum's Tax Services Group seeks a Trust and Estate Tax Manager to lead engagements, supervise staff, and cultivate client relationships. You will oversee complex tax returns, research, planning opportunities, and tax controversies across individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations.

Join a team of CPAs and industry leaders; travel as needed; base compensation varies by location. Remote positions are available within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA license is required or JD/Master of Science in Taxation.
• At least 5 years of public accounting tax experience with leadership of multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Review tax returns for accuracy across individual, trust, partnership, and corporate entities.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities.
• Oversee tax research projects for diverse clients and industries.
• Manage multiple engagements with teams to meet deadlines.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to staff; contribute to professional development.
