Aerotek is hiring a Truss Builder / Assembly Technician in Richland, WA. You will perform repetitive assembly operations, read basic measurements, and use hand and power tools to mass-produce trusses in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves performing repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce trusses and related products in a fast-paced production environment. You will use hand and power tools, follow measurements and basic blueprints, and move between different workstations as production needs change, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
You will join a hands‑on, team‑oriented production environment where you can learn valuable construction and manufacturing skills without needing prior experience. This position is based in a physically active production and manufacturing setting. You will continuously stand, walk, use your hands to finger, handle, or feel materials, and reach with hands and arms while performing assembly tasks. The role occasionally requires climbing or balancing, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You must be able to continuously lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds. The job requires strong visual abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. You will be continuously exposed to moving mechanical parts and may encounter airborne particles. The environment frequently includes outside weather conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level is usually loud, and you will be required to wear ear plugs for noise protection, eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as required by the location. The work schedule may include overtime to meet production demands, and you will work at various workstations as tasks and product models change throughout the shift.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richland, WA.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
