Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Kingston, WA seeks motivated individuals for Truss Assembler roles in our Kingston manufacturing facility. You will assemble roof and floor trusses, measure and cut materials, and ensure quality and safety throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills including addition/subtraction/division.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and floor trusses according to specifications and production requirements.
• Position and secure lumber and truss components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials to exact specifications.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met and identify defects.
• Operate equipment used in fastening and assembly processes.
• Work at various stations throughout the production process as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
