Job summary

Builders FirstSource is hiring Truss Assemblers in Spanaway, WA to join a skilled production team in a manufacturing facility. You will assemble roof and floor trusses, measure and cut components, and ensure quality and safety at every step.

The role welcomes candidates with carpentry, construction, or manufacturing backgrounds, but also offers training for motivated entrants. Expect hands-on work with tools, adherence to safety policies, and opportunities for growth within BFS.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, construction, manufacturing, assembly or woodworking preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools or production equipment.
• No prior experience required; training provided for motivated candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and floor trusses per specifications and production requirements.
• Position and secure lumber and truss components using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials to exact specifications.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards and identify defects.
• Operate equipment used in fastening and assembly processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; follow PPE policies.
