Job summary

Builders FirstSource, the nation’s largest supplier of building materials, seeks a Truss Assembler for our Kingston, WA manufacturing facility. You will assemble roof and floor trusses, measure and cut materials, and ensure quality while adhering to safety standards.

We welcome candidates with carpentry or manufacturing experience or those eager to learn. This full-time, on-site role offers training, benefits, and opportunities for growth within a large, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble roof and floor trusses according to specifications and production requirements.
• Position and secure lumber and truss components using hand tools and equipment.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials to exact specifications.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met and identify defects.
• Operate equipment used in fastening and assembly processes.
• Work at various stations throughout the production process as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and wear PPE.
