Job summary

Rodriguez is hiring for a CDL-A Yard Spotter on a Monday-Friday schedule. Earn $22 per hour with weekly pay, overtime after 40 hours, and a consistent yard role spotting 53' dry van trailers using a yard tractor. A valid Class A CDL and 9 months of tractor-trailer experience are required.

1st or 2nd shift openings with occasional Saturday work, boot voucher after orientation, and comprehensive benefits including health and 401(k) matching are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• At least 9 months tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Minimum age 22 years old.
• DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for driving and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Spot 53' dry van trailers in a dedicated yard using a yard tractor.
• Operate yard tractor to move trailers as needed.
• Follow schedule with a Monday–Friday routine and occasional Saturday work.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Must be at least 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving, communication, and required documentation
