Job summary

Trucking Group UTAH seeks a CDL-A Yard Spotter to move 53' dry van trailers in our yard using a yard tractor. The role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with 1st or 2nd shift options and overtime possibilities; a worker is provided the yard tractor and boot voucher after orientation.

Pay is $22 per hour with weekly pay and benefits including medical and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, PTO and 401(k) matching. Prior yard experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and current driving credentials.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 22 years old and able to read and speak English for driving and documentation.
• DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance.

Responsibilities

• Spot 53' dry van trailers in the yard using a yard tractor.
• Operate yard tractor to move trailers safely and efficiently.
• Support Monday-Friday schedule with overtime and occasional Saturday work.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain accurate yard records.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Must be at least 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for driving, communication, and required documentation
