Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT inspection certified Truck & Trailer Mechanic for our Kent, WA location. The role involves diagnosing failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers, servicing tanks, and inspecting to meet DOT standards.

Experience with air brakes and trailer suspensions is required; HM183 certification is preferred. Shift hours are Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay ranging from $22 to $42 per hour, dependent on

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanic with 2-5+ years of experience. This is for our Kent, WA location!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7am-3:30pm

Pay Range: $22.00 to $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards
• HM183 certified preferred

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
