Job summary

BestDrive by Continental is hiring a Service Technician to service and repair commercial vehicle tires. The role requires mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing tires for heavy-duty vehicles and off-the-road equipment, following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment experience.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication with coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/unload tires on/off trucks.
• Repair tires and inspect tires/wheels per procedures.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders and discuss with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately per policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt/rebolt wheels using lug wrenches and tools.
• Mount/dismount off-road tires including multi-piece rims.
• Provide emergency road service during nights/weekends as needed.
• Maintain assigned service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA safety regulations.
