Job summary

Continental's BestDrive team is hiring a Tire Service Technician. This role involves dismounting, mounting, balancing, and repairing tires for commercial and medium trucks, with emphasis on alignment and suspension work.

You will handle various repairs and keep safety as a priority in a dynamic environment. The position offers a sign-on bonus based on experience, plus immediate benefits, PTO, 401(k) matching, and growth opportunities within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• minimum 2 years experience with trailer mechanics
• Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Clear and professional communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble/assemble tires and mount/balance for commercial and medium trucks.
• Perform wheel alignments on passenger cars and on light/medium trucks.
• Repair or replace suspension components when required.
• Repair trailer components and service brakes.
• Use above-ground lifts for brake repairs and related tasks.
• Manage parts inventory and stock for alignments and brake repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors and document work accurately.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels using hand tools and power tools.
