Job summary

HOLT Truck Centers is seeking a mid-level Truck Technician to diagnose, repair, and recondition key systems and components of trucks and related equipment. The role expects more than three years of experience and a proactive, self-starting approach.

You will work onsite at HTT - Pharr with a focus on diagnostics, engine repairs, and documentation. The position includes mentoring junior techs and adhering to VBL standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• ASE Heavy/Medium Truck certification is advantageous.
• AC and Brake system certifications are preferred.
• Ongoing safety training and VDLS/diagnostic tool use expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine and related equipment on trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex engine malfunctions with minimal supervision.
• Mentor and coach lower level Technicians as needed.
• Complete service reports, parts requisitions, and documentation for timecards.
